Falmouth's finest hotel
Whether this is your first visit to the county or you're becoming a regular guest, there's no better place from which to see the many sights that Cornwall has to offer. Our aim at The Royal Duchy is very simple, to provide the perfect location for your holiday; luxury accommodation, the very finest food and, naturally, the warmest of West Country welcomes.
Relax in an atmosphere created to help you unwind
From the minute you arrive at The Royal Duchy Hotel Falmouth our primary concern is that you feel relaxed and at home. As evening approaches, the hotel bar becomes a centre for socialising. After a lively morning sightseeing few can resist the attraction of the Sun Lounge. Light and airy, it commands outstanding views of the Bay.
Dining at the Royal Duchy is always a pleasure,
with a team of AA rosette winning chefs on hand to create fantastic dishes from fresh, local ingredients, accompanied by the finest wines. After dinner, sit back and enjoy an act or two from our varied programme of entertainment - or just watch the sun go down over the beautiful view from your own room. However you choose to spend your time, you’re guaranteed a truly memorable holiday at the Royal Duchy Hotel.
As always, it is the little touches that enhance The Royal Duchy experience so much. Dinner is accompanied by either our resident pianist or by the beautiful sound of the harp. The hotel boasts a full programme of musical events. Party the night away at a lively dinner dance or for a less energetic evening, sit back and enjoy the cabaret.
Leisure facilities to help you unwind.
If you're in need of a little rest and relaxation, then The Royal Duchy Hotel offers all the facilities you'll require to unwind. The hotel's leisure complex houses an impressive indoor heated pool, as well as a sauna, solarium and spa bath. Anyone in need of more serious relaxation should look no further than the garden terrace, in our carefully landscaped grounds. It's the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing cool drink, a tempting afternoon tea or, perhaps, a glass of the finest wine as you watch the sun go down.
First class accommodation with service to match. Each of our rooms is beautifully furnished, with a private bathroom en suite and boasts everything that you are entitled to expect of a four star hotel; including satellite television, radio, direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. Inevitably, many rooms are distinguished by their spectacular views. And it is features such as these, combined with uncompromising luxury and a 'home-from-home' atmosphere, that serves to make every stay unforgettable.
... from The Royal Duchy Hotel Of course, the miles of outstanding golden sands that are so characteristic of the Cornish peninsular are only a walk away. For many people the lure of Cornwall's magnificent gardens is the primary reason for their visit. If you've business in mind then our newly created 'Coleman Room' is available for meetings and conferences - complete with all the equipment you're likely to need.
