A short walk from both the famous beaches and the harbour itself , better known these days for the likes of Rick Stein’s Eateries and its many up market shops and art galleries. Owned by television actors Nick Orchard and Cazz Scattergood, the Tregea has an atmosphere that brings regular guests back year after year with 8 stylish bedrooms, cosy lounge and large dinning room, where you can start the day with a full Cornish breakfast prepared by our resident chef. Winter break deals start in October, and its wise to book early for a Christmas or New Year stay.

There are also many beautiful Cornish gardens and endless array of wildlife from puffins to seals and basking sharks. Padstow is the perfect location from which to explore this wonderful area and the Tregea provides the ideal place to stay. Our aim is to provide a comfortable, relaxing holiday in one of the most beautiful parts of the country which is also the centre for a huge range of interest from all types of water sports including surfing, sailing, and windsurfing to walking, riding and golf. Not forgetting the Camel Trail of course.

Our Location The hotel is situated about 300 yds from the well known (and frequently photographed) harbour. Whilst this can get very busy at peak times the hotel's location (although in the High Street) is actually very quiet but within walking distance. The hotel was thought to have been built in the early 17th Century on an old Roman road leading into the town overlooking the beautiful 13th Century Church of St. Petroc. It is a small family run Hotel with a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere which has been furnished to a high standard offering guests very comfortable accommodation. The owners, have carried out extensive refurbishment and completed redecoration using light airy colours to provide a hotel that is stylish as well as offering first class comfort.

Our dining room provides delightful surroundings in which to start your day with our full English or Continental breakfast (or both if you wish!) Easy walk to town, beaches, coastal paths etc. Complimentary tea & coffee. There are eight charming bedrooms, all providing en-suite facilities of either bath or shower.

Places to see- so much for everyone to enjoy.... Camel Trail, for a day trip Eden Project (18 miles), followed by maybe the Lost Gardens of Heligan , (27 miles), or other excursions National Maritime Museum (37 miles), St Micheals Mount ( 46 miles).

From £95 room / per night to £120 room / per night. depending on Room and Season. All prices are for a double or twin room per night and include breakfast * Minimum stay 2 nights. Prices are per double or twin room per night with two sharing. Single occupancy is charged at the same rate. A full English and continental style breakfast is included. We do not accommodate pets and have a non smoking policy. We offer discounts on midweek breaks throughout the low season.
