Trevigue is a 16th Century farmhouse
tucked in a hollow high on the rugged North Cornwall cliffs comprising a
600 acre conservation conscious farm.
The farm, some of it National Trust, has three miles of spectacular rugged coastline,
with cliffs rising to 720 feet - arguably the best location in Cornwall with abundant wild life,
far reaching inland and coastal views and peace and quiet,
part of which is rented from the National Trust.
It is warm and inviting and once you are here you will find it very hard to leave.
Down a meandering donkey path across the cliffs is the
hauntingly beautiful and isolated Strangles beach.
Samphire Cottage Sleeps 10 + 1 cot.
A very private single storey house commanding fantastic far reaching inland views and a five minute stroll to the top of the cliffs.
Beautifully furnished throughout, very spacious and warm, lovely large enclosed garden.

In the Summer months swim in the warm pool before breakfast looking over the valley to amazing views.

our own free-range pork sausages and delicious ‘proper’ free range eggs.
A sitting room, with a large slate open fireplace, has deep sofas and is packed with books.
A place to relax and unwind. The house has been exquisitely furnished by the family over
the years and their love of fine paintings is clear. The three en-suite rooms
are reached via a winding oak staircase.
All bedrooms are lovely and warm and cozy.
Our Bedrooms The Grey Room: A very large double room with an oak beamed ceiling and an exceptional 5ft oak-carved bed! This adorable room looks out onto the cobbled courtyard ideal to watch the swallows in the summer (the real owners of Trevigue!). With en-suite shower room. The Pink Room: A double room with a Stag double bed. This has an en-suite shower and is very light with windows at both sides. Tea and coffee making facilities. The Twin Room: A charming cozy twin room with an en-suite bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities.
2008 Tariff Bed and Breakfast per person per night (based on two people sharing) From £30 to £36 per person per night. Preferential rates for longer stays. Single tariff from £40 to £45 per person/ per night depending on room.
Trevigue is ideally situated
for touring the local area,
the fantastic family beach at Crackington Haven-ideal for rock-pooling,
surfing, bathing, sunbathing, walking; and exploring Cornwall and Devon as a whole,
i.e. the moors at Dartmoor,
Exmoor and
Once you have found Trevigue you will find it hard to leave. It will become part of you childrens precious memories and you will want to return year after year. Whatever time of year, Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn it is a magical place to come for a retreat to re-charge your batteries.
