Gilles and Nelly welcome you to Poldown Caravan Park set in two acres of parkland amidts rolling countryside. We are just 3 miles from the main sandy surfing beach of Praa Sands and only 2 miles from the picturesque fishing harbour of Porthleven with animated quays and village pubs.

Here at Poldown you will find everything to make a perfect Cornish holiday - many facilities and ideal for the whole family. You will find open space, colourful flower beds, and peace and quiet - no noisy nightclubs here - time to relax and enjoy your stay with us.

Luxury Caravan Holiday in Cornwall

We have seven luxury caravans, suiting a range of individual needs, all set in landscaped gardens with plenty of open space for young children to play safely. All have unobstructed front views over the park.

holiday-home All our caravan holiday homes are six-berth and have free electricity and gas. They are fully serviced with showers, and some have hip baths. All have fully fitted kitchens, gas cooker,microwaves and hob, heaters, refrigerators and a comfortable lounge/seating area with separate kitchen/dining area and television. Top of the range models have digiboxes and DVDplayers. The sleeping accommodation comprises of a double bedroom with one twin bedded room together with a convertible sofa or dinette in the lounge. All have patio furniture or picnic tables.

Touring and Camping Holiday in Cornwall

touring static-park Camping. Our touring and camping pitches are all level, and generous in size. All have electric hook-ups. They are screened in groups of 2 or 3. Some pitches have drainage and electric/water hook-ups.

Camping & Touring Tariff 2008. All prices are per night Prices include 2 persons. From £9 to £21.50 depending on pitch and time of year– Adults £2 to £2.75– Children £1 to £1.75 Awnings are free if with grass friendly ground sheets otherwise £3. Dogs £ 1.00per dog.

Our Bed and Breakfast. We also have two rooms sharing a bathroom suitable either as a family unit for 4 or just for two en suite. £ 69 for 4 or £ 50 for 2.

The world famous Eden Project is only 45 mn drive away, Flambards Cornwall's premier family park is 2 miles away. We are surrounded by several historic houses and remarkable tropical gardens. The nearby villages of Breage Ashton and Porthleven house family friendly pubs and restaurants.
